All 6 cottages and the apartment at Milburn Grange comfortably meet the requirements of the national quality grading of 3 stars.

Milburn Grange supports sustainable tourism and has been accredited under the 'Responsible Tourism' scheme operated by the Lake District Tourism and Conservation Partnership. We are Associate Members of The Partnership and are helping to care for the living landscape by raising funds through our guests to support woodland enhancement work at Dufton Ghyll. Work is planned at Dufton Ghyll to enhance public access on the 1500 metres of footpaths that cross the woodland and conserve rare flora found within the stream habitats. Additional work includes enhancing the exposures of St Bees sandstone within the woodland and improving the tree structure by removing non-natives and replacing them with native saplings such as oak.

Milburn Grange and our guests have currently raised £308 towards supporting Dufton Ghyll Woodland..

The Cumbria for Excellence Awards recognise Cumbrian tourism businesses who have demonstrated a dedication to quality and excellence in the service which they provide to the visitor. In the 2004 Cumbria Awards for Excellence Milburn Grange received the Bronze Award for Tourism Website of the Year.

In 2003 the Milburn Grange Website was shortlisted for the Northwest Regional finals of the e-commerce awards.

Milburn Grange is an active member of the Cumbria & Lakeland Self Caterers' Association.

Milburn Grange is an active Commercial Member of the Cumbria Tourist Board.
