Prices

Prices are for full week bookings commencing on a Saturday and are in £ sterling (GBP).

The prices are per cottage per week, and includes background heating*, bed linen, towels and tea towel. Electricity for cooking, lighting, hot water and supplementary heating is charged at below cost by a £1 coin meter.This only averages about £2/day and is part of our conservation policy and national surveys have shown that charging a token amount for electricity leads to a large reduction in usage, we appreciate our guests supporting us with this policy. (*1st September to 30th April)

A discount of 5% off the total rental price of all weeks is applied for bookings of two or more weeks. Note that in all cases only one discount (the greatest) will be applied to any one booking.

Details of how and when bookings can be made for short breaks (less than a full week) follow the price tables below.

Any requirement for cots and highchairs or z-beds must be notified when booking. No charge is made for cots or highchairs but we ask parents to provide bedding for the infant. A charge of £25 is made for each Z-bed (including bedding), this is added to the booking price. Cottages where a z-bed or cot may be accommodated are listed on the Cottage Facilities page.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in all cottages except Holly and The Studio. Details of any dogs must be provided on booking. A charge of £20 per dog is payable on booking.

Note : 2010 Christmas and New Year bookings run from the 21st December and 28th December 10 respectively.

Short Breaks (less than a full week)

Short breaks are available throughout the year at a cost of 70% of the weekly price for one, two or three nights, 80% of the weekly price for four nights, or 90% of the weekly price for five nights. A 6 nights break is charged at the weekly rate.

Where a holiday falls into two different weekly price categories, the higher price is the one used to calculate the price of the short break.

Short breaks can be booked any time in advance for holidays to be taken within the following periods: 4 January to 21 April 2010 and 14 to 30 June and 28 October to 20 December 2010. Short breaks at other times can only be booked within four weeks of the start of the holiday.
